Oppo Releases the Find5 Phablet With a Ridiculously High Pixel Density
Oppo has been known in recent years as a manufacturer of high quality gadgets and some of its smartphones really stand out with their unique characteristics. For example, the Oppo Finder stirred the MWC 2012 with its record-breaking slimness. The Chinese manufacturer recently revealed the Oppo Find5 with its enviable display and performance level, making it one of the best phablet ever.
The 5” display has a full-HD resolution (1920×1080), yielding a staggering pixel density count of 441 ppi; something we have never seen before on a commercial product.
Oppo seems to be determined to impress us thoroughly with Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro quad core processor, 2GB of RAM, 12MP rear-facing camera (1080p video recording), 2Mp front-facing camera and Jelly Bean (Android 4.1.1). However, the 1930mAh battery could be rather inadequate to support such a powerful device and users may not be able to run demanding apps for too long to survive the day on a single charge. The phone will sell at $599 and should compete well with latest Android devices in China.
